James Proctor

James has been riding for over 20 years. He started riding at a British military equestrian facility in Cyprus and, after leaving school, studied at Hartpury Equestrian College. Since leaving college, James has worked as a groom/rider for British showjumper Geoff Luckett before moving to work as rider and head- groom for Olympic Silver medalist Steven Smith in Yorkshire. During his time James has been fortunate enough to work with some of the biggest names in British Showjumping. For the past five years James has ran his own livery businesses nearby, building a solid reputation for quality horse care and riding tuition. Establishing Goldenchime stables has enabled him to expand the business and offer quality livery, riding and teaching facilities.

Sarah Proctor

Sarah has owned and ridden her own horses for over 30 years. She previously managed a large military equestrian centre in Cyprus, catering for all equestrian disciplines. With over 200 members and 40 horses she organised and ran the Islands largest horse shows. Sarah takes care of all the administration at Goldenchime and organises our competition schedule and regular clinics.
